Library Bar, Lounges & Terraces

Relax in comfort at the Library Bar, a traditionally styled, oak panel bookcase room with magnificent ribbed ceiling, leather sofas and an open log fire. Enjoy a drink or a bite to eat from the popular Bar Menu served daily from 12 noon until 9.00 p.m.  and 9.30 p.m on Friday and Saturday.

The Cornwallis Lounge with its fabulous carved stone fireplace is also an ideal place to informally dine from the Bar Menu, or to savour a long drink in quieter surroundings. Weather permitting, try traditional afternoon tea, a refreshing drink or dine ‘al fresco’ on the adjoining Bar Terrace or in the Peacock Garden with views over the castle grounds and countryside. The perfect place to watch the sun go down.
