It’s been another busy week for weddings and events. We have hosted 6 weddings over the past 7 days.
We had an amazing time at the National Exhibition Wedding Show at the NEC Birmingham My feet still ache! The stand looked great but we also thought of some new ideas for our stand when we visit Manchester in February for the next wedding show.
We held our October Wedding Showcase yesterday, fabulous! Everyone was busy from start to finish. Our new brides and grooms to be were amazing and we are all excited to be planning their special day with us.
The phones are again busy this week with the latest bedroom offers going out and Christmas is on the horizon for the party planners.
Halloween month is here! The Medieval Hall is getting dressed for the banquets this month. Am quite looking forward to the ‘Ghost Walk’ and dungeon tour on the 31st Argh!! Anyone else brave enough out there?
Another busy week in The Moat Spa! The October Radiance Spa Day Special is proving to be very popular, who can blame them? It’s a great deal! As well as the Retreat Spa Day for 2 which is always a popular package.
We had a very exciting delivery from the post man yesterday with the arrival of our ESPA Christmas gift sets, some amazing bargains! We’ll be purchasing some of those ourselves as they make great stocking fillers, can’t see them lasting long. Had a great time with Peta putting them on display. Couldn’t quite fit them all as there are so many to choose from!
Our next delivery will be for our yummy Seasonal specials. Mulled Wine scrub and Hot Chocolate wrap from Natural Spa Factory to name just a couple. The Moat Spa team can’t wait to create some divine treatments with these delicious products unique to our spa. Thankfully they’re not edible or I don’t think they’d last long.
There’s lots going on with The Moat Spa this season and plenty more to come. As the temperature starts to drop I’ll be quite happy enjoying the view from the Hot Tub.
Finally!.. The grounds are looking stunning now Autumn is well and truly here. The leaves of every colour make the Castle grounds a stunning place to take a walk and finish off with an Afternoon Tea.. mmm did someone mention food? That’s it for now I’m getting hungry!
